SEAIR ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF MICHAEL R MAYDER, CMA, MBA, TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Edmonton, Alberta, January 2, 2007. SEAIR Inc . (SDS: TSX Venture Exchange) SEAIR Inc. ("SEAIR") is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Michael R. Mayder, CMA, MBA to the Board of Directors of SEAIR Inc. effective December 29, 2006.
Mr. Mayder is currently a management consultant who provides finance, accounting, regulatory, and general management consulting services. He has over thirty years of experience in the energy, utility and municipal government sectors. Mr. Mayder has a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Calgary, where he graduated on the Dean's list in 2001. He is also a Certified Management Accountant (1986) and earned the Alberta Silver Medal for his accomplishments in this program.
Over the past nine years Mr. Mayder held a number of executive and senior management positions in finance and business development at ENMAX Corporation including Vice President Business Development, Treasurer, and Director of Finance. ENMAX is an Alberta-focused retail gas and electricity company. His responsibilities at Enmax included treasury and accounting functions, budget controls and financial reporting. Prior to joining ENMAX Corporation, Mr. Mayder held several senior management accounting and information system positions at the City of Calgary.
The appointment of Mr. Michael Mayder became effective concurrently with the resignation of Mr. Christopher Kinasewich from the Board of Directors. Mr. Christopher Kinasewich has served as a Director of the Corporation since March, 2004. The Corporation thanks him for his service as Director and is pleased to announce his new appointment as Vice President of SEAIR Inc.
SEAIR Inc. also announces this granting of 220,000 incentive stock options to Directors and Employees of the Corporation. The options are exercisable into common shares of SEAIR Inc. at an exercise price of $0.84 and expire five years from the December 29, 2006 issuance.
