Government Study Proves SEAIR Oxygen Diffuser Increases Yields

Edmonton, Alberta, August 6, 2004. SEAIR Inc. (“SDS” on the TSX Venture
Exchange) is pleased to announce it has received results of the Oxygen Diffuser study
being conducted at the Crop Diversification Centre North in Edmonton, Alberta. The
study was undertaken to demonstrate the yield effects of maintaining a higher level of oxygen in water used for greenhouse Cucumber crops.

The following table shows the effects of a controlled level of oxygen versus deprived
oxygen in the water supply. Reduced oxygen levels were maintained below 5 ppm, as a representation of actual application levels. The control group utilized SEAIR technology to maintain a 10 – 15 ppm level.

The table below shows the details of weekly yields as total kg/40 plants.

The total yield comparisons were 292.491 versus 394.536, an increase amounting to an impressive 34.9%. The yields from two treatments were compared and there was a statistically significant difference between the treatments. The deprived oxygen treatment yielded 14.58 kg/m2 while the enhanced oxygen treatment yielded 19.28 kg/m2 over eight weeks period, an increase of 32.24%.

This study was designed to show the production benefits of increased levels of oxygen, and further outlines the advantages of the SEAIR system The study was conducted by Dr. Mohyuddin Mirza, Greenhouse Industry Specialist and Wanyu Chen, Research
Technologist for the Crop Diversification Centre North, a division of Alberta Agriculture, Food and Rural Development.

An additional preliminary report has also been received from Dr. Mirza describing the
effects of the Oxygen Diffuser on a hydroponic lettuce crop. This summary indicates that the initial effects are extremely positive, showing improved root systems and healthier, greener leaf production. The final results of this study will be released when it has been concluded.
