Edmonton, Alberta – June 24, 2004, SEAIR Inc. (“SDS” on the TSX Venture Exchange) is pleased to update activities arising out of international initiatives in China and the Middle East announced on March 22 and April 1, 2004. These included the initiation of Asia operations and the appointment of Henry Lee, VP- China Operations, and the receipt of a letter of intent from His Highness Sheikh Al Hassan Bun Ali Al Nuaimi for the establishment of a mutually owned company in The United
Arab Emirates (U.A.E.).
On June 18, 2004, Mr. Lee submitted the first quarterly report on his work in China. In April, he attended the Hortiflorexpo China 2004 and discussed SEAIR and its applications in oxygen diffusion and sterilization. A number of companies were approached with respect to joint venture projects, manufacture of SEAIR products, and interest in distribution agreements. Included in the Company’s corporate contacts is Langfang Jiutian Agriculture Engineering Co, one of the major agricultural engineering firms in China. Mr. Lee has made a number of recommendations arising out of strong interest in SEAIR Inc and its technology, and the management will determine a strategy over the next few weeks.
On June 7th, 2004, officials for the U.A.E. met with a SEAIR representative in Calgary. The substance of the April letter of intent was reaffirmed and it was mutually decided to complete application tests in North America prior to expanding distribution agreements through marketing networks in the Middle East.
While directing the initiatives in China and the U.A.E. through its representative in each region, SEAIR management has been active with the immediate North and Central American demand. It is the intention of management to continue to cultivate strong ties and develop marketing programs with SEAIR affiliates in China and the U.A.E. SEAIR will continue to update shareholders with progress in these markets as they develop.
SEAIR is engaged in the development, manufacture and sales of its proprietary diffusion and sterilization technologies with applications in various industries throughout North America and globally. The Corporation is actively involved in the North American Greenhouse industry within which it has been successful in the implementation and sales of its greenhouse nutrient diffusion technologies. Further applications of oxygenation and sterilization in industries such as Aquaculture, Aquaponics and Horticulture as well as other environmentally benign sterilization applications, and waste water bio-remediation are currently being developed and tested.
