SEAIR Announces Appointment of Chief Financial Officer
Edmonton, Alberta, October 1, 2003. SEAIR Inc. ("SDS" on the TSX Venture
Exchange) is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Fekete, CA as the
company’s Chief Financial Officer. Michael will be instrumental in directing the
execution of Seair’s operating and growth strategy, and will oversee all financial matters
concerning the company.
Michael recently held the position of Chief Financial Officer and Controller of a
successful public company, and supervised financial operations for national and
international offices. In this role he was also responsible for the consolidation of nine
Canadian companies, two joint ventures, three equity investments and one US subsidiary.
Michael has a Chartered Accountant Designation, and has completed numerous courses
relating to the financial operations of public and private companies.
Michael will be replacing Harold Kinasewich as Chief Financial Officer, freeing up
Harold to increase marketing and sales efforts for the Seair Nutrient Diffusion systems
and related technology systems. Harold remains as Chief Operating Officer, Secretary
and Treasurer.
SEAIR is engaged in the development, manufacture and sales of its proprietary diffusion
and sterilization technologies with applications in various industries throughout North
America and globally. The Corporation is currently actively involved in the North
American Greenhouse industry within which it has been successful in the implementation
and sales of its greenhouse nutrient diffusion and oxygenation technology. Further
applications, such as aquaculture oxygenation, aquaponics oxygenation, an
environmentally benign sterilization process, bio-remediation system and an animal
enhancement oxygenation system are being developed and tested.
