SEAIR Announces Purchase Orders for August and Technology Studies
Edmonton, Alberta, September 4, 2003. SEAIR Inc. ("SDS" on the TSX Venture
Exchange) is pleased to announce the company generated in excess of $250,000 in
purchase orders for its nutrient diffusion systems in August, its first month of operation
as a public company. Purchase orders were made up of the 3 LPM and 10 LPM units for
use in greenhouse applications. These orders were achieved through recent introductions
of the diffusion technology to a number of greenhouse operators and distributors in
British Columbia and Ontario. The company intends to expand its marketing focus in the
greenhouse industry to include markets throughout North America through the continued
development of strategic partners and primary distributors.
SEAIR has entered into two testing agreements with a major growers association and a
prominent Canadian university. SEAIR agreed with Kwantlen University College to
participate in a proposed test to examine the effects of the SEAIR diffusion technology
within a greenhouse environment utilizing wood chips or sawdust grow media. SEAIR
also agreed to commence extensive testing of the diffusion technology with the
University of Guelph to study the impact of increased oxygen on roses, gerbera, tomatoes
and peppers. The University of Guelph is home for the Controlled Environment Systems
Research Facility, world renowned for providing unique solutions for the Canadian
Greenhouse industry. This study will be financed by the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture,
the Ontario Rose Growers Association and the Ontario Greenhouse Growers Association.
SEAIR is engaged in the development, manufacture and sales of its proprietary diffusion
and sterilization technologies with applications in various industries throughout North
America and globally. The Corporation is currently actively involved in the North
American Greenhouse industry within which it has been successful in the implementation
and sales of its greenhouse nutrient diffusion and oxygenation technology. Further
applications, such as aquaculture oxygenation, aquaponics oxygenation, an
environmentally benign sterilization process, bio-remediation system and an animal
enhancement oxygenation system are being developed and tested.
